Anyone can experience struggles with mental health at any stage of life. Like physical wellbeing, our mental health should be looked after and prioritised.
I provide all my clients with a safe space, practical tools and genuine encouragement to approach the many challenges life can present, in a way that works for them.
Primarily person-centred, my counselling involves working collaboratively to make sense of your experiences. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to tailor your therapy effectively to your needs.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, bereavement, stress, coping with medical conditions, challenging relationships or simply just working out how to move towards a better life.
I offer face-to-face sessions in a comfortable, safe environment close to Wilmslow town centre. Convenient off-road parking and proximity to major transport links ensure accessibility. Sessions last up to 50 minutes. I normally recommend that the first few sessions are weekly so that you can get comfortable with the therapeutic relationship, but after that I will endeavour to work out a schedule with you that will best meet your needs.
If you are not able to attend face-to-face sessions due to your location, or simply because you would prefer your counselling remotely I offer counselling by phone or on-line. These sessions also last up to 50 minutes and, as with face-to-face sessions, will be scheduled where possible to meet your needs.
I also offer the option to integrate remote and face-to-face sessions recognising, that in a busy world, this may work better for some people.
All sessions whether face-to-face or remote last up to 50 minutes and cost £50 per session.
A discounted rate is available for student counsellors seeking therapy as part of their training and who can provide proof of study. Enquire for details.
